Innovation Digital is proud to announce the recent launch of the Edinburgh Inspiring Capital (EIC) website.
The consumer-facing website, which launched in February is a collaborative effort between public and private sector bodies to raise the profile of the city of Edinburgh as a place to ‘live, invest, visit and study’. The purpose of the website is to use the Edinburgh Inspiring Capital Brand to invoke commercial yield; attracting quality businesses, residents and tourists to the city.
The website was developed using Immediacy Content Management System (WCMS) 5.3. The system provides a robust and flexible environment that is both easy to use and offers high levels of accessibility for the user. The EIC website is one of a number of sites that Innovation Digital has developed using this platform.
Innovation Digital is currently implementing a second website for the Edinburgh Brand Team. The Edinburgh Inspiring Capital brand adopters’ site is the Brand's business-to-business website. The aim of the site is to encourage new brand adopters to sign-up to the Brand through the use of third party endorsements and inspiring case studies to show best practice. The site will go live on June 4th 2008 at www.edinburghbrand.com.
This innovative website is designed to attract talent, trade and tourism to the region. The unique project has been undertaken with our web development partners, Innovation Digital, who have mirrored the Inspiring Capital team's passion, dedication and commitment to this project and have succeeded in delivering a world class website.
